I'd like to be abel to insert text in the videos and have some more edditing features like fade in/out when you put severel sekvenses together, Also if you culd text the movie that you made would be a great feature.

It needs the capability to add text to the videos. Titles, to me, seem like an obvious necessity.

Add the posibility to insert subtitles, translations, etc. and other sorts of text.

This is actually one of the most important features in any video editor. Without it one can hardly personalize his creations.

Be able to edit stills formats also such as PSD and JPEG to broaden the capabilities and interract with other creative softwares

By being able to edit stills along with the video the creative capabilities increase dramatically and allow for people to use stills based software to create menus or titles which are also not available in this software. This way you don't lose...

more & or custom frame sizes & bit rates

need 1440 x 1080 for blu-ray/AVCHD, & full range of bit rates to allow BD5/9. While you're at it, AC3 & AVC PLEASE in other than .ts profile, which nothing recognizes -- don't mean .ts, but the audio/video inside it.

Fix the 'Edit' menu, for the link to be inactive when there is no media presented or selected

Now the links under the edit menu are always active, even when not having media loaded into the program, the are still active and when clicking on them nothing happens. If it going to stay the same, at least it will be good to add a message box...

Add Clear Media to your media asset window

every time it opens, or with new projects the same content is displayed -- not the way it's done, because each project has it's own collection of assets. At least a Clear button would let you get around that a bit.

It would be nice to be able to add pictures as well as videos to the edit. Even Windows Live Movie Maker can do that.

It wouldn't allow me to load any image types... not even jpg.

The program needs precision splitting

After splitting a segment of the video I've noticed it doesn't always split it exactly where you have it set, sometimes it splits it +/- 0.5 - 1.0 seconds.
